⚽️ CROPREDY FC U11 – PRE-SEASON TOURNAMENT ⚽️

Cropredy travelled to Wantage on a wet Saturday afternoon to take part in a pre-season tournament, and what a day it turned out to be! 👏

From the very first match, the boys started really well, playing some fantastic football. They played confidently as a team, moved the ball around well, created chances and showed a great attitude throughout.

Cropredy played 7 matches in total and performed really well in every single one. Every player gave everything, with some excellent passing, movement and work rate on display. It was brilliant to see how much they have developed as a team. 💪⚽️

The boys reached the semi-final, where we didn’t start quite as well and conceded an early goal from a corner. But the response was fantastic. They continued to play their football and it was a real pleasure to watch.

Unfortunately, we conceded another goal, but the boys never gave up. They continued to push forward, managed to get a goal back and came very close to finding the equaliser. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t to be.

The biggest reward, though, was the praise the team received from opposition coaches, parents and referees about the way we played our football. 👏👏

That shows we are definitely heading in the right direction.

I’m extremely proud of every single player today. The effort, teamwork, passing and attitude they showed was fantastic.

The new season is looking VERY, VERY promising! 🔴⚽️
