What a lovely day for football match and what good facilities to play on.
It was a good performance today from all the players.
We started off well passing around at the back which we are doing really well before getting the ball forward.
I thought our work rate was good and we took our chances well.
In the first half we started well but we gave the ball away a bit to easy and could of conceded a goal a couple of times but we kept on working hard and the passing started to get better and eventually got our reward with a goal from Ayo.
The second half we started to slow and we conceded a penalty which they scored from to make it 1-1.
We pulled ourselves together and started to play our football with some good passing and again we hit them on the break when kayden passed to ayo who passed it across goal for nathan to score to make it 2-1.
We were in control and started to create more chances when ayo scored another one to make it 3-1.
We were in full control now make some good forward runs and passing the ball forward quicker and it was Alan who had ago upfront and took it round the keeper to score 4-1.
We could have had another 2 when kayden made a good run with the ball down the wing and tried to bend it round the keeper but hit the post which was unlucky and ayo had a chance but couldn’t get it past the keeper.
In the end it turned out to be a comfortable win.
There are things we need to work on like defending and attacking corners and decision making like when to pass and when to make certain runs but that will come in training.
Mom went to Nathan who worked hard in midfield and did some good tackles and passed the ball well.
The other player was Riley who played on the left wing then played at cb and then finished in cm and got stuck in and won his tackles and passed the ball well to his team mates.
Well done to every player and a big improvement from Mondays game.👏🏻👏🏻
One more thing well done to casper who pulled off some more good saves well done.
